This journal examines the role of Islamic education management in educational institutions and how to develop educational institutions. Qualitative methods are used in this study by obtaining data sources through observation, interviews and reinforced by literature review sources. The findings of the components regarding the role of educational management obtained are curriculum management, human resource management, infrastructure management, financing management, public relations management and special service management. MAN 4 Bantul has four points in developing educational institutions including using an independent curriculum, implementing Islamic character in shaping student morals, increasing worship and faith in individuals to always be grateful according to Islamic teachings. producing branding through information management in the field of public relations and improving the quality of human resources by participating in learning innovation workshops for educators.
